Hunters, by far, have the best job, that is, if you are a heartless, manic bastard. Hunters have been trained from the beginning to not care about other's feelings. To do so would completely go against what they do. They are to capture or kill who ever they are assigned and get paid to not worry about them again. Besides the money, many have signed up to become Hunters solely for the reason that experimental gene splicing has been performed on most of them. The thought for many is which animal their genes could be spliced with. There are many who believe the leader of the Hunter's had his gene's spliced with that of a jaguar and has never lost a target. But no one has actually ever laid their eyes on him. There are, however, known cases of failures and many Hunters are left with disfigurements. There are a few successful cases, however. Small things, like a tail or patterns beneath their skin. Some even have night vision. Recently, the experiments have been playing around with avian genes but there has been no successful cases yet.
Hunters are given all matter of access to anything they desire, be it Government offices or even Apartments of the Saviors. They are basically considered the new age military. They are highly trained in stealth, direct combat and a range of tracking skills. They are also the only people given the license to turn their weapons from stun and tranq to kill.
Hunters are also exempt from any kind of exam for the Project and can marry and have children if they so desire and not have to worry about the Project butting it. Consider it a perk of the job.
If a Hunter goes rogue or doesn't successfully capture or kill their intended target, another Hunter is allowed to take a contract on them and destroy them. There are no rules to a way a Hunter can take someone down. As long as they are destroyed or brought into the Project without some serious injuries.
